Flourish

“Flourish” is currently housed in downtown Mason City, Iowa as part of their “Sculpture on Parade annual exhibition.  Conceptually, “Flourish” is a sculptural representation of thoughts growing inside ones mind. Physically, “Flourish” is composed into a naturalistic construct that draws inspiration from cyclical systems found in both the natural world as well as the manmade. By combining imagination as well as inspiration from forms found in the natural world, my intention is to evoke contemplation on the unseen forces found in the space inside and between living entities, and in the objects and landscapes that surround them.
